2020 Home Tour | Lauren Ashley Design | Mid-Century Scandi Lodge

Hello all! Today is going to be a fun introduction to the next phase of our new offerings here are Lauren Ashley Design. On our Instagram you have seen me talking about this Mid-Century Scandi lodge I have been designing for the past two weeks. This home is honestly my dream home if I was to pack up and go away for the weekend (or just quarantine myself). It is a 1 bedroom 1 bath home with the kitchen being the largest room in the home. Now, why is that? we will get to that on the home tour! This home tour is just a sneak peek of what are new rendering offers will consist of. Our new Full-Service E-design Package will truly be a luxurious experience. Upon purchase, you will be sent a measuring guide and info package so you can begin your design experience all from home. The info package will help walk you through all the steps to start your design journey. Once we chat via email, I will be able to come up with a concept board for you. The concept board consists of shoppable images/links where you can shop the design and we can collaborate to see if the design is right for you. After some collaboration, I will produce a render! This is when you will be able to see the finished design in a photorealistic 4k design! I will send you photos and a video walkthrough that will be a calming experience with music in the background (like the home tour here). If you are doing a whole home design with me you will be able to walk through the entire home! It is an exciting experience that you won't be able to get anywhere else. Would you like a sneak peek of this process? Let's get started with the home tour!

Kitchen | The Heart of The Home

For the kitchen, I decided to have some fun with textures. The warm tones throughout the kitchen only accent the mid-century style of the home. By keeping everything clean-lined we were able to bring in those subtle hints of warm gold and brass that set off the counters and accent pieces. You'll see throughout the kitchen that we used pattern is places that were appropriate like the countertop, with a bold marble with grey undertones.

Bedroom | Your Sanctuary

The bedroom was the first room that I design in this home. So I like to say that this room set the tone for the remainder of the design. The main focus of this almost nordic style room is the view. When you walk into this room everything is kept simplistic and organic to mirror the reflection of God's masterpiece outside. I chose monochromic accents in the art and rug to keep everything balanced.

Bathroom | Relaxing place

This bathroom just says it all without talking. With the continuation of the same finishes as the kitchen, the clean modern look continues. Another thing you see in this bathroom is the floor to ceiling windows which allow for the outdoors in effect. Brass and gold are accents here again in the fixtures and oversized mirrors.

Living Room | The Gathering Space

The living room is an eclectic mix of texture and metals that creates a Scandinavian sanctuary. The mid-century accents melded with the mixed metals, accenting the beautiful view, is a look that is hard to imagine is a rendering. By using organic touches such as the leather, jute rug, and natural mid-century lounge chairs I was able to great a modern organic look that again brings the outdoors into space. The low profile of the sofa allows for a large amount of light to come through the oversized windows.
