Since his creation by Dr. Seuss, the Grinch has captivated minds around the world. The Grinch has gone from storybook character; to television star, and to movie star within the last few decades. The Grinch has become a mainstay in Christmas, and Christmas décor has become much more than just Santa. The Grinch is now a popular Christmas character that can be found in a sort of Christmas décor.
Grinch inflatables are a common way that the Grinch infiltrates the holiday season. However, as a designer, I cannot suggest filling your whole home with inflatables as a way to express your holiday cheer. If you want the designer look but you still want to show your grinchy spirit, don’t fret! The timeless character can join the festivities while looking cultivated and prepared as a designer home should.

When looking for Christmas decor inspired by the grinch, and when creating Christmas Rendered, I didn’t want the whole space to scream “this is a grinch space.” So what you want to do is create a space that exemplifies the grinch mood or essence via pillows or accessories. You’ll see that I threw in a traditional color red and green pillow but you’ll also see some fun fur pillows in the mix that create the organic rustic atmosphere that I feel like the Grinch movie portrays.
The tree is a very important choice. You don’t want to go with a traditional tree. You want to go with a unique tree. The who tree is very unique in the fact that it is curved at the very tip and not symmetrical at all. The trees I have selected are unique as well in their own right. For example, the downswept Christmas tree, creates a look as if this tree just came right off the mountain.

Creating a unique modern Christmas space will set your holiday gathering apart from all the rest this holiday season. Traditional seasonal decor is beautiful but doesn’t be afraid to add some of these unique pieces to your decor this season before your Christmas Event.
