College is an exciting time in life! College is the start of dreams and pursuits for so many young people. It is the time of year when many young adults travel to their dorms or apartments to begin their new journey. Just because you can’t paint or use nails in a dorm room, doesn’t mean you can add personality. Think outside the box that you’ve been given – add texture, color, and some fun lightweight art pieces via command hooks. We love using an easy-hang upholstered headboard that offers a foundation for the eye to focus on.
For furniture, we love to add an ottoman for extra seating and a small trunk for storage + a table accent. Our favorite brands for college furniture and accessories are PB Teen, Target, and Urbanoutfitters! Most of these brands offer great multifunctional pieces that are perfect for a college dorm space.

Lauren started her career as an e-designer in college. She transitioned her company into a DVA services business, assisting other designers, architects, and contractors quickly growing a strong clientele. Her heart’s passion is rendering but what makes her DVA business different is marketing strategies.
